Lester and squad excited for FA Cup draw

Jack Lester and his Spireites are excited for tonight's FA Cup first round draw.

Chesterfield will learn their first round proper opponents just after 7.10pm tonight.

The Town boss is a big fan of the competition and hopes his men can stay in it for as long as possible.

“I think the players will be (excited), I think we are,” he said today.

“The FA Cup is marvellous, as a player it’s something to be excited about.

“An FA Cup run would be lovely.”

Chesterfield are ball number 13 in tonight’s televised draw, while rivals Mansfield Town are number 26.
