Ladies battle through to last four of Bell Cup

Buxton and High Peak Golf Club Ladies achieved a terrific victory recently when they defeated Dunham Forest Ladies 4-3 to reach the semi-final of the Manchester District Ladies Golf Association Bell Cup.

The match was played on a neutral course at Stockport GC last Friday and the contest certainly went down to the wire.

Joanne O’Dwyer & Linda Green both had to hold their nerve on extra holes to secure the win.

The semi-finals and final are to be held at Greenmount GC in September.
