Rovers denied '˜stonewall penalty' at Proact claims Stewart
Ian Evatt appeared to haul Stuart Sinclair to the ground in the second half of today’s League One clash, but referee Andy Haines missed it.
Evatt himself admitted after the game that he’s ‘seen them given’ but felt Sinclair went to ground too easily.

Hide AdHe said: “It feels like we’re getting punished for every ball into our box, every shot on target, every shot that gets deflected. It’s just one of those times we’re going through.
“We made them defend for large parts of the game and deservedly got two goals.
“It’s just not going our way.
“We had a penalty decision that was stonewall. Two weeks, three weeks ago we would have got a penalty.”
The Rovers number two said there were positives to take from the defeat and he’s confident their luck will change soon.

Hide Ad“We need to try and turn this by training hard, creating our own luck, not blaming each other and getting on with it.
“We didn’t get the equaliser or winner but they had the courage to get on the ball and do the right thing going forward.
“We’re in a strange place in terms of dominating games but conceding lots of goals. That will change.”
