The play-off rivals went head-to-head at the Racecourse Ground and neither team could find a way through, although the visitors had the better chances.
“We were poor, we will look at ourselves, but I think it was probably a fair result,” Keates said.

“Our quality in the final third just wasn’t there.
“I thought the three centre-backs defended the 18-yard box well, they had a few decent balls go in.
“But the big thing for us was our final third play was not good enough today.
“That final decision-making, that final ball going in, the cross, the execution of it, the shot, it just wasn’t there today.
“It is a clean sheet but it is a disappointing point.”

Hide AdJoel Taylor was lucky not to receive at least a booking for a late challenge on Reece Hall-Johnson in the first-half but Keates was honest enough not to make too much of a fuss about it after the game.
However, one incident late on left him frustrated.
He explained: “There is no point me going on speaking about late challenges. I am more concerned that when we are breaking right at the end and we can all see across the pitch that Reece (Hall-Johnson) has got the other side of (Joel) Taylor, he has created an overload for us in the last minute and he is pulling him back and he has pulled him down. The fourth official can see it but does not get involved.”
