Chesterfield target Bradford City striker Danny Rowe to boost National League promotion hopes

The 32-year-old has a prolific record at non-league level and would boost the Spireites’ attacking options following injury to top scorer Akwasi Asante.
Rowe only joined the League Two Bantams from Oldham Athletic in January on an 18-month deal for an undisclosed fee after scoring 11 goals in 32 appearances for the Latics.

Hide AdHe has scored five in 18 for Bradford this campaign but has not been featuring regularly recently.
Bradford’s joint-boss, Mark Trueman, told the Telegraph & Argus: “Danny wants to play football, but we’ve got a lot of good strikers in the building.”
Rowe scored an impressive 192 goals in 283 appearances at AFC Fylde, giving him legendary status at the Coasters, as well as scoring the winner in the 2019 FA Trophy final and collecting a number of records and player of the year awards.
As a youngster he spent time at Manchester United and Preston North End.
