Captain Matt Higginbottom was the only player to offer support to Bird and their fourth wicket partnership of 47 was the highest of the innings.
Mykylo was unluckily run out for 63 with the score on 113/8. His 172 runs over the weekend accounted for 49 per cent of the runs scored by Chesterfield in the two matches.
Chesterfield were all out for 133 in 38.2 overs with Ali Jahangir having the best bowling figures for the visitors with 3-33.

The Barnsley captain, Jonathan Trower opened the innings and was not out for 77 from 77 balls when Barnsley won the match by seven wickets in the 25th over.
The disappointment of the two losses over the weekend was offset by the performance of wicket keeper/batsman Mykylo Bird.
This is a young cricketer who has consistently worked hard on his game and deserves great credit for his early season form.
