School closures as snow hits Derbyshire

The county is braced for several hours of snowfall after the Met Office issued a ‘yellow’ level warning for snow and ice which will run until 9pm this evening (Thursday, January 14).
During lockdown most schools still remain open for children of keyworkers along with vulnerable children, but are being forced to shut altogether due to the wintry weather.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Primary School School closed (14/01/20) from 10am due to bad weather conditions to all year groups.
Cutthorpe Primary School School is closing due to poor weather & road conditions. Please could all children be collected urgently.
Padfield Community Primary SchoolSchool closed due to bad weather.

The school building is closed due to the weather. Google Classroom online learning is continuing as normal.

School closing early due to worsening snow.

The site closed completely from 11am due to bad weather conditions.
