VIDEO: Flooding brings a soggy end to Easter in Derbyshire
Heavy and persistent rain left parts of Derbyshire underwater on Monday.
The torrential downpours caused by the so-called Storm Katie brought a soggy end to the Easter weekend - and misery for some homeowners in the county.
Scores of properties were hit by flooding in Chesterfield and roads across the county were left submerged in several inches of water after the early-morning rainfall.
The early-spring storm also saw snow fall in other parts of the county, including Buxton and surrounding higher areas of the Peak District.
Reader Nick Rhodes, of Hasland, sent us several photos of flooding in Chesterfield - including Queen’s Park and areas close to the town’s Horns Bridge roundabout.
And Simon Clarke, of Leabrooks, also submitted a number of images of the flood-hit All Saints’ Church in South Wingfield.
