Chesterfield sports centre manager welcomes return of fitness classes, badminton and swimming lessons
Chris Wright, operations manager at Queen’s Park Sports Centre in Chesterfield said: “We are really excited to be able to release additional activities at both Queen’s Park Sports Centre and the Healthy Living Centre in Staveley from May 17. We’re ready to welcome customers to take part in fitness classes, badminton, squash, and other activities such as learn to swim, trampolining and gymnastic as lockdown restrictions continue to ease.
“The safety of our customers and staff remains our priority and we continue to operate in a Covid safe manner. One-way systems and social distancing is in place throughout both centres, and regular cleaning is taking place to ensure everyone can enjoy their visit safely."

Fitness fans in a mid-Derbyshire town are so keen to return to indoor exercise classes that gym bosses have expanded their offering.
Paul Homes manager at Full Power Fitness on Heanor Business Park, said: “Demand is so high within our community that we are also starting to run classes at other venues locally including Heanor Gate School and a local miners welfare.
"We are absolutely delighted to be launching our indoor class timetable again from May 17. We are offering over fifty classes per week whilst still offering outdoor classes.
