Man's body found at Derbyshire tourist attraction

A man's body was found near a caravan park at a Derbyshire tourist attraction on Sunday (January 24).

Police were called to a wooded area in Poolsbrook Country Park, near Staveley, at around 12.45 pm following reports a member of the public had found a body.

The discovery was made just off Inkersall Road, not far from the caravan park.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Derbyshire Police will be providing a file for the coroner. The man has not yet been named.
