Firefighters ‘dampen down’ after Chesterfield car blaze

Firefighters were called out to a car fire in Chesterfield this morning.

Crews arrived at the scene on Holywell Street at around 9.33am today (Monday, February 4).

A fire had begun in the engine compartment of a vehicle, but this was out on arrival.

Firefighters dampened down the car and gave advice to the owner before leaving the scene.
