Fallen tree closes A6 at Bakewell
A fallen tree has meant the A6 road between Bakewell and Buxton has been closed since the early hours of the morning.
A police officer was driving along the road at 2.30am this morning (Thursday) when he came across the tree, which had pulled down a telegraph pole and was completely blocking the road.
Derbyshire County Council’s highways department has been alerted to the issue.
The road will reopen once it is cleared.
