The incident is reported to have happened at 12.20pm on Thursday, April 16 in Cedar Avenue, Ripley.

Three men are believed to have got out of a grey Vauxhall Astra and assaulted two other men who had been in a yellow Skoda Fabia.

The driver of the Astra is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, slim build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit and black trainers.

One of the passengers was white, 5ft 9ins tall, and of slim build. He wore a black tracksuit with a hood, which was pulled up over his face.

The third man was white, 5ft 11ins tall, wearing a black hooded tracksuit with hood up, a khaki coloured bag with a single strap and black trainers.

The men are all thought to be in their early 20s.
