Police warning about 'illegal raves' in Derbyshire

Landowners and residents are being urged to contact officers if they become aware that a rave is going to take place in the county.
A police spokesperson said: “We all have our part to play in preventing the spread of Covid-19 and we appreciate your support in stopping illegal raves from taking place.

Hide Ad“If we see signs of an event being planned, set up, or taking place, our officers will take action to keep our communities safe.
“Landowners are being reminded of their responsibility to contact the police if they suspect an illegal rave is being set up on their land.
“If you're planning to attend an illegal rave, know that we have the power to close roads in order to prevent people from reaching the site.”
