Police release CCTV after couple 'hit with a road sign' in alleged Chesterfield town centre attack

Police have released CCTV images of three men they want to talk to after a couple were allegedly hit with a road sign during an assault in Chesterfield town centre.

A man in his 30s and a woman in her 30s were on Knifesmithgate around 7am on Sunday, August 1 when they were allegedly hit with a road sign and kicked.

A Derbyshire police spokesperson said: “They suffered injuries, which were not thought to be serious.
