19-year-old charged over incident in Renishaw which saw two 15-year-olds stabbed

Adam Wildman, of Carrwood Road, Renishaw, appeared at court this morning (Friday, February 12) and was remanded into custody.
During the incident - which took place at around 7pm on Monday (February 8), near to the Miners’ Welfare on Main Road in the village, three boys from the Sheffield area were assaulted.

Hide AdTwo 15-year-old boys received stab wounds, while a 14-year-old was hit to the head, all three being taken to Sheffield Children’s Hospital for treatment where none of their injuries were found to be life-threatening.
A total of five people have now been arrested in connection with the incident after two boys, a 17-year-old from Renishaw and a 15-year-old from Sheffield, were arrested earlier this week on suspicion of affray and wounding.
A 35-year-old man and 18-year-old man, both from Renishaw, were also arrested yesterday, Thursday, February 11, on suspicion of affray and wounding.
All four have now been released on police bail.
The investigation is still ongoing and officers say they are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with CCTV in the area who hasn’t yet come forward.
