Crews attended a house fire in Swanwick
A fire crew from Alfreton was called to a house fire in Swanwick yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters attended the fire on Palmer Avenue at around 2.40pm.
The house was well alight and the crew used two hose reel jets to put out the flames. They requested a third pump which was provided by Ripley station.
At around 3pm all persons were accounted for.

Hide AdJust after 3pm the crews attended a neighbouring property to dampen it down. A neighbour was also given oxygen by the paramedic on scene.
Crews extinguished the flames and a fire safety officer attended to conduct an investigation of the cause.
