Chimney fire at Matlock house
A fire broke out in the chimney of a house in Matlock.
The blaze happened at the Church Street home, at around 6.30pm on New Year’s Day.
Crews from Matlock arrived to find the fire in the lounge and the house smoke logged.
The fire had also spread to a log pile near the log burner.
They ventilated the property and left the scene at around 7.15pm.
