Bakewell pupils hit the headlines

Students at Lady Manners School in Bakewell got a taste of life as journalists when they made the news for real last Thursday, as part of the BBC’s School Report Day.

A group of 13 to 14-year-old students found, researched, wrote, recorded and published stories on the Shutts Lane school’s website with the assistance of members of the BBC News team.
