More than a dozen floral displays depicted the various cultures, traditions and features which are part of our country’s heritage.

The displays were the work of church members and friends, with a centenary display by Alfreton Women’s Institute, which meets at the church.
The two-day festival attracted lots of visitors, and traditional English teas proved popular.
Sunday services were conducted by Mrs Jenny Kilgour of Derby and Mrs Gill Irish of Swanwick.
