Walkley is, James Ross says, one of Sheffield's 'usual suspects' where prices are likely to rise - a recent ELR property listing, for a three-bedroom semi-detached property that sold with a guide price of £230,000, described the area as 'a desirable suburb situated on the edge of the city limits, with a number of independent pubs, restaurants and shops having sprung up in recent years giving the area a distinctive bohemian feel'. "The close proximity to a highly regarded primary school and additional amenities in both Malin Bridge and Hillsborough along with lovely walks through the Rivelin Valley make the area ideal for first time buyers, young families, those wishing to downsize and anyone with a love of the outdoors," ELR said of Walkley.
