Jacky Rodgers set up her photography business in the town four years ago, specialising in weddings, family portraits, pets and special occasions, and since the coronavirus pandemic struck, she has been taking photographs of families in the Newbold area to bring a smile to people’s faces.
Her daughter, Tiffany Jackson, said: “You will never see my mum without her camera. She loves capturing emotion through photographs. In the lockdown she has been doing doorstep portraits, with the mission of capturing lockdown families.

“Social distancing measures are adhered to thanks to her long lenses, and these photographs are taken within walking distance of her home in Newbold.
“These images have brought smiles to so many. They truly capture the moment and provide a snapshot in history. In times of such uncertainty, her images show families in a light of positivity and love. We are all in this together and family is more important that ever, and these images remind us of that.
“My mum is always going above and beyond to help others though her creativity.”
