People across Englnd are being asked to stay at home again to help prevent the spread of coronavirus, with only ‘essential’ shops permitted to open, for the next four weeks, until December 2.

Under the new rules, imposed following a spike in cases across England, people are prohibited from leaving their homes other than for a handful of reasons, which include work and volunteering, when this cannot be done from home; shopping for food and other essentials; and exercising.
