Covid-19 fatalities remain static at Chesterfield Royal Hospital

There have been no new Covid-19 fatalities in Chesterfield Royal Hospitals, latest figures from NHS England have confirmed this afternoon (Tuesday July 1).
As the death toll remains static, the total number of people who have died after contracting coronavirus at hospitals in Derbyshire remains at 130.

Hide AdIn England, a further 50 people contracted Covid-19 have died in hospitals across the country.
This brings the total number of coronavirus fatalities across England up to to 28,759.
Patients who died in the last 24-hour reporting period were aged between 52 and 97-years-old and two people had no known underlying health conditions.
The news comes after a local lockdown has been enforced in Leicester due to the city’s higher than normal transmission rate of COVID-19.
