Coronavirus: How many people have died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and how many confirmed cases are there in Derbyshire?

Latest NHS England figures show another patient with Covid-19 has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital – bringing the total death toll there to 64.

Government statistics also show there are now 1,302 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across Derbyshire – 901 in Derbyshire county and 401 in Derby city.

NHS England confirmed this afternoon that a total of 14,829 people have died in its hospitals after testing positive for Covid-19. At the time of publication, the latest death toll for the UK was 16,060.
