During the last year-and-a-half at least the transformative schemes have gathered pace as part of efforts to rejuvenate Chesterfield as a place to live, work and play.
They include office buildings, hotels, new town centre apartments, a food hall and a town centre leisure quarter.
5. Chesterfield building developments update - Old Magistrates court.

6. Town centre: Northern Gateway enterprise centre
The council-led centre will include 32 high quality office suites - with 24/7 access, an IT fibre connection offering maximum speed multi-bandwidth capability, wi-fi and air conditioning throughout.

7. Town centre: The Chesterfield hotel
