Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Youth Theatre to perform The Crucible

A powerful production of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible is to be staged in Chesterfield.

The town’s Pomegranate Youth Theatre will present the tale of the Salem witch trials in America in the late 1600.

Company members, under the direction of Sheila Young and assistant director Rick Ferguson, are spending part of their weekends rehearsing for the production which will be set in the round.

The Crucible will be performed at the Rose Theatre, Chesterfield, on April 23 and 24 at 7.30pm. Tickets £8 and £6 (concessions) plus booking fee. Contact: www.chesterfieldstudios.co.uk
