The legendary, record-breaking, box office smash hit thriller The Mousetrap returns to its Nottingham birthplace to celebrate its 60th anniversary with a star cast, this week.
The Mousetrap, by Agatha Christie, is famous around the world as being the longest running show of any kind in the history of British theatre, with over 23,000 performances to its credit.
The Theatre Royal Nottingham hosted the play’s world premiere on October 6 1952, prior to its record-breaking run in the West End. To celebrate 60 years on stage, this legendary production will be returning, as part of its first ever UK tour.
The cast includes Karl Howman (Brush Strokes) as Mr Paravicni, Bruno Langley (Coronation Street) as Giles, Graham Seed (The Archers) as Major Metcalf, and Clare Wilkie (Eastenders)as Miss Casewell.
The Mousetrap will visit the Theatre Royal Nottingham from 13 to 18 May.
