NOTTINGHAM Playhouse’s 2011-2012 pantomime is to be Cinderella, once again written and directed by ‘Mr Nottingham panto’ himself, Kenneth Alan Taylor.
The family show can be seen from November 25 to January 14 and features the return of Playhouse favourites John Elkington and Anthony Hoggard as ugly sisters Bella and Donna, while Rebecca Little returns as Dandini in this right royal slice of entertainment.
Doomed to drudgery by his vicious stepsisters, Cinderella can only dream of escape and romance. Enter a beautiful fairy godmother with a pumpkin and a touch of magic to whisk Cinders from pantry to party.
But with her sisters digging their ugly heels in, it’s not an easy ride to that happy ever after finale.
The panto features sparkling song and dance routines, dazzling costumes and lashings of glitter.
Ticket details for this production of Cinderella are available from the box office on 0115 9419419.
