Pop aces to play at the arena

There are a couple of treats coming up later in the year for pop fans at the Capital FM Arena Nottingham.

Due to the positive response to ITV2’s hit show The Big Reunion, Live Nation have announced that all six acts will be hitting the road during May.

The tour arrives at Capital FM Arena Nottingham on Thursday, May 9.

The ITV2 show sees the six chart-topping groups reunited a decade after they ruled pop.

The Big Reunion follows their every step, as their worlds are turned upside down after years away from the spotlight.

During the series, viewers will see the groups reunited for the first time since they split.

For some, it’s the chance to relive their dream, for others it may open old wounds as they prepare to face demons they thought that they had buried forever.

On the show, each band has just two weeks of intense rehearsals before they step back onto the stage to perform once again in front of thousands of fans at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, tickets for which sold out almost as soon as they went on sale.

The six acts embarking upon this veritable pop extravaganza and their line ups are as follows:

5IVE (Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Abz Love, Sean Conlon)

Atomic Kitten (Natasha Hamilton, Liz McClarnon, Kerry Katona)

B*Witched (Edele Lynch, Keavy Lynch, Sinead O’ Carroll, Lindsay Armaou)

Liberty X (Jessica Taylor, Michelle Heaton, Kevin Simm, Kelli Young, Tony Lundon)

911 (Lee Brennan, Simon ‘Spike’ Dawbarn, Jimmy Constable)

Honeyz (Celena Cherry, Mariama Goodman, Heavenli Roberts)

Tickets for the Nottingham show are priced at £30 and £40 (plus booking fee).

Later in the year, on December 10, perform at the venue on their anniversary tour.

Join Ronan, Keith, Shane and Mikey as they celebrate BZ20 – The Anniversary Tour.

In November 1993, a bunch of young lads from the North side of Dublin would infamously appear on Ireland’s biggest TV show The Late Late Show and the rest, as they say, is history.

Twenty-one singles, seven albums, 25 million record sales, hundreds of gigs, millions of memories and 20 years later, Boyzone are still going strong and are ready to tour again, playing hits after hit for their fans.

Join the boys as they take to the road once more and thank their fans for the incredible support and dedication they have shown over the past two decades.

Tickets to see Boyzone in action are £35.50 (plus booking fee).
