The Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society, based on Coxmoor Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, will be holding a public open evening on Saturday, February 21.
Gates open at 6.45pm. Adults admission (16 and over) is £5, under 16s £1 (must be accompanied by an adult). Pre-booking is not required. Come along and view the wonders of our galaxy and the great universe beyond. This is probably the best time of year to see the beautiful treasures of the night sky through our main 24-inch telescope and other smaller portable telescopes. Bring along your binoculars and join in a binocular tour.
Hot and cold refreshments are available. Raffle prizes. Wrap up warm as some of the evening will be spent outside.
Smoking is not allowed on site. Limited parking available. Wheelchair access
