The Clone Roses bring their tribute to The Stone Roses to The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, November 7.
Support on the night at the King Street-based venue comes from The Screaming Hawks.
The summer of 2012 saw Manchester legends The Stone Roses reform for a series of memorable shows, but now the gigs have passed, there is only one option for fans who want to re-live The Heaton Park experience. The Clone Roses are the closest thing you will find to recreate the look and sound of these shows.
The band include all the classics in their set such as Waterfall, Made of Stone, This is the One and of course I am the Resurrection.
Virgil And The Accelerators are the vistors on Saturday, November 8, for the Midlands launch gig for their album Army Of Three.
The blues power trio is led by guitar prodigy Virgil McMahon, his brother Gabriel on drums and bassist Jack Alexander Timmis, who are on tour to promote their brand new album.
Virgil McMahon fronts the trio with his incredible fretboard skills and seasoned vocal, Gabriel is a formidable presence and Jack is a powerful performer on bass. Gabriel and Jack provide the platform for Virgil to shine from. The end result a jaw dropping and apparently telepathic set that is not to be missed.
Wishbone Ash are back on Tuesday, November 11. The legendary rock band, famed for their driving twin guitar fuelled sound, is this year celebrating 40 years since their iconic album Live Dates and is still led by iconic guitarist Andy Powell. He is joined by Bob Skeat (bass), Muddy Manninen (guitar) and Joe Crabtree on drums.
Finally, Thursday, November 13, is the date for a Flowerpot gig by Mike Zito & The Wheel, and Samantha Fish.
RAW Promotions are proud to present an evening of blues/rock featuring two outstanding performers who are on tour from the USA.
2009 Blues Music award winner Mike Zito is one of those rare artists who can sing like nobody’s business, can write songs that instantly grip you, play a mean Gulf Coast style guitar and has the stage presence to draw in any audience.
He recently worked as a producer with Samantha Fish on her new album Black Wind Howlin’. In November, Samantha appeared as special guest during the German tour of the Royal Southern Brotherhood. Now here they are on tour together.
Doors open for all four gigs at 8pm. Admission is £10 for The Clone Roses, £15 for Virgil And The Accelerators, £15 for Wishbone Ash and £15 for Mike Zito and Samantha Fish.
Advance tickets are available from The Flowerpot and RAW Promotions, as well as online at www.rawpromo.co.uk
