Mansfield Male Voice Choir will perform the first concert of its new season at Skegby Methodist Church on Saturday, March 14.

The concert gets under way from 7pm with doors opening at 6.30pm.

Approximately 40 choristers will be performing a wide range of new songs and old favourites.

The choir, which is based at the Salvation Army Citadel in Mansfield, is growing and now has a membership of over 50 including a pleasing number of young singers.

Formed in 1926 and singing with pride and energy over nearly 90 years imbues the choristers and music team with a sense of responsibility to continue this long heritage.

Admission to the concert is by ticket, costing £6, from choir or church members or alternatively you can ring 01623 455373. Refreshments are included in the price.
