Album sale cash to go to kids’ charity

A protest singer from Kilburn is donating part of his latest album sales to charity.

Dennis Derby released ‘Roller Coasting with Dennis Derby’ via Itunes, Amazon, CDBaby and at BPM Records on Saddler Gate in Derby, on Frida,y and intends to give most of the proceeds to Together for Short Lives,’part of Childrens Hospices U.K.

The LP features ten and songs ranging from political attacks on the Government’s ‘Big Society to funny songs such as ‘Never smile at a crocodile’.The 60-year-old otherwise known as Dennis Sleigh toured extensively throughout the 1970s. He now regularly busks across the country.
