Turn back time at pop-up speakeasy

For one night only, Bakewell Old House Museum will be transformed into a pop-up speakeasy reminiscent of nearly a century ago.

Visitors can relax to the mellow jazz music of the museum’s Prohibition band, featuring Lou Amer and Andrew Herbert, while sipping a glass of wine or beer – or sampling a daring cocktail or two from the licensed bar.

A variety of mouth-watering canapés will be on offer as customers findthemselves back in the roaring twenties.

The fun takes place this Friday, July 15, from 6pm to 9pm. Tickets £10, to include canapés, available from Sam or Anita on 01629 813642 or email: [email protected]
