Rock & Blues event returns

The 2016 Rock and Blues Custom Show And Old School Weekender roars into action when it takes place next week, featuring a packed programme of music as well as many other activities.

The Coney Grey Showground at Pentrich is again the venue for the popular annual event, which this year takes place from July 21-23.

A great weekend for all the family, it features three days of live music on three stages, plus the ever-popular two-day indoor Custom Show, as well as trade stalls and entertainment.

It also includes fully licensed bars plus there will be plenty of food available.

The 2016 Rock and Blues Custom Show and Old School Weekender also offers free camping with all of the usual facilities.

Please be aware that parking charges do apply.

There will be bands galore performing across the three days.

On Thursday, July 21, you can see sets from Motorkill, Black Rose and Quo Motion while Skinny Molly, Slade UK, Nuclear Minogue, Dr and The Medics and Asomvel are there on Friday, July 22.

On Saturday, July 23, there’s a chance to enjoy music by The Dead Daisies, Michael Monroe, Courtesans, The Kentucky Headhunters and Bad Touch.

As for the Custom Show, displays of motorcycles, hot rods, classic cars and trikes can be enjoyed, while there will be a wide range of categories, including best in show, best Harley, best trike and many more.

The Custom Show is set undercover while the trophy and prize presentation will be held on the outdoor stage.

Tickets to what is a relaxed family festival are £42.50 (including post and packaging). Children aged 14 and under get in free of charge. (All children up to the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. A Saturday ticket is £27.50.
