RASCALS competed in three rounds of the Notts and District League in the autumn, and had a very successful competition.
The first round was held in Sutton in October. This proved to be a very entertaining gala, which saw Rascals finish joint first with Carlton Forum, and ahead of Notts Leander, Sutton and Bramcote.

The second round, held in Worksop in November, saw an outstanding performance from the team, leading to a convincing win by Rascals, who finished ahead of Leander, Sutton, Southwell and Bramcote.
There were many excellent swims on the night, with Rascals swimmers winning 34 out of the 52 races.
The 15-year-old girls’ team (Molly Renshaw, Hannah Jones, Louise Ratcliffe, Olivia Strachan) won all of their races, as did the 13-year-old boys.
Personal best times were achieved by Fearn Middleton, Laura Magill, Fern Jackson, Olivia Strachan, Molly Renshaw, Louise Ratcliffe, Harry Jones, Oliver Brown, Alfie Richford, Tomas Eley, Xander Parr and Dom Bestwick.
The third round took place on December 11, again in Worksop, and was a much harder event.
