Ripley Running Club was well represented in last Sunday’s Matthew Walker Christmas Pudding Run 10K, managing to put out a considerable team of 22 runners on the day.
First back for Ripley was Luke Beresford, in 21st position, in a great time of 37.28. On his shoulder was Andy Parkin, in 22nd place, in the same time. Luke Freeman followed closely in 31st place, in 38.14.
Caroline Moss made her racing return after a lengthy lay-off and managed a very respectable 349th place, in 50.45.
Jamie Halsted made his 10K debut in any format, and managed to stay with Caroline all the way, finishing one place behind her in 350th, 50.46

Meanwhile, Ripley sent two of their best runners to the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k race.
The first six runners finishing in under 30 minutes out of a massive 7300-plus runners.
Dale Annable was fastest for Ripley in a PB of 31.08, good enough for 33rd. Matt Bickerstaff set a PB in 34.20, finishing in 113rd.
