Ripley Running club sent a small but talented team over to East Retford for the popular Retford half marathon.
Conditions were almost perfect for running, apart from a slight breeze making things a little tricky at times.
Dennis Holmes was first back for Ripley in a great time of 1.32.03 in 89th place.
Carl Hopkinson was next back in 197th place in a time of 1.43.11.
Visually impaired runner Tom Briggs managed to knock nearly six minutes off his previous personal best nad was ably guided by friend Steve Whittle. He managed 256th place in a time of 1.46.19.
Veteran athlete Bill Powis showed his class in a great time of 1.54.30, which was good enough for 357th.
Completing the Ripley team was Antoinette Franco in another personal best of 2.02.30. She finished in 438th place to put her in a good place ahead of the challenges of the Belfast Marathon in May.
Lucy Taylor headed over to Cofton Park in Birmingham to represent Derbyshire in the Inter-Counties Cross Country Championships and clocked an impressive time of 31.38. She came 208th in a field of very fast lady runners.
Meanwhile husband, Dean Taylor was the sole representative from the green and gold team at the tricky Dronfield 10k.
He managed a great time of 36.41, which was good enough for a spectacular 12th place in a very fast field of runners.
Luke Beresford and Matt Nicholls travelled over to Weston-on-Trent for the annual five mile race. Luke finished in fourth place in a time of 28.50, while Matt finished in 23rd place in 32.28.
And finally representing the club at the Grindleford Gallop were Simon English and Wayne Smithurst.
Wayne finished in 153rd place in 3.32.56, Simon in 156th place in 3.33.54.
