Chapel’s Jack Massey is looking forward to getting back into the ring on Saturday after a five-month absence.
The unbeaten cruiserweight contests the seventh pro fight of his career in Manchester (Opponent TBA) looking to pick up where he left off.
Massey’s last outing was back in October at the city’s Victoria Warehouse complex - the scene of this weekend’s bout - when he recorded a routine points win over Mitch Mitchell.
Since then Massey has been training at home and abroad, sparring with the likes of world champion Youri Kalenga as well as Brian Rose and Tony Bellew.
Last month he told the Advertiser that he was hopeful of earning a shot at a title at some point this year.
