Heanor Swimming and Lifesaving Club gained 26 gold medals during a recent Short Course championship at Billingham.
A squad of 30 swimmers aged seven and upwards competed in a range of events, both individually and in teams against clubs from all over the UK.
They returned with a total haul of 26 gold medals, 13 silver and nine bronze to complete a successful day for all involved.
The range of activties available at the club not only encourages members to develop their swimming and lifesaving skills, but also improves social skills, confidence and overall fitness.
Older members also volunteer to support learning, transferring their skills and experiences as young leaders and role models to younger members.
Heanor Swimming and Lifesaving club meet on Monday and Friday evenings at William Gregg VC Leisure Centre, Hands Road, Heanor.
