Angling sessions are a big success

Moorwood Moor Angling Club coaches John and Kath Nicklin have successfully been running sessions of Junior Teach-ins on their ponds at South Wingfield throughout the summer.

Seen pictured are a few of the 14 juniors that John and Kath gave instructions to throughout the summer months.

The coaches would like to sincerely thank the following for their help and sponsorship in making these teach–ins possible, all the local tackle shops in the area, Amber Valley Community Voluntary Service, The Derbyshire Foundation, Derbyshire County Council, Amber Valley Council and of course the parents.

John has informed the News the club will be running the sessions again in next summer as getting juniors interested in angling was the future of the club which has now been runnign very successfully for the past four years.
