Heanor Town seconds suffered a second successive disappointing weekend with just four points gained from a trip to Marehay thirds.
Heanor asked Marehay to bat and they got off to a steady start before Maurice Edwards got the first wicket at 25-1. Eight balls later he bowled Brian Caulton for a duck.
Heanor changed their bowling attack with Liam Sloman which brought a wicket in his second over caught behind and Toc Literski similar picking up a wicket in his third again caught behind leaving Marehay on 82-4 in the 26th over.
Marehay took a grip of the bowling with young Joe Spray bringing up is 50 with Dad Paul struggling to keep up the pace with the running and Marehay finished their innings on 218-6 with Joe Spray carrying his bat for an unbeaten 108.
In reply, Heanor collapsed before looking to bat out for the losing draw. Liam Barlow joined dad Paul and batted well for ten overs before being caught for 4, Liam Foster making his second team debut got a couple before being bowled.
Literski was then bowled in the 43rd over with the score now on 83-8.
Mark Fletcher then limped in to finish the innings leaving Heanor on 99-8 from the 46 overs available. Paul Barlow also carrying his bat for 56 not out.
