Heanor CC II crushed top-of-the-table Stanton by Dale by 168 runs after a magnificent bowling display.
After losing the toss Heanor was asked to bat on a hard white track and struggled to cope with the opening bowling pair.
With early wickets falling Heanor after 10 overs were 44-3 with Foster, Barlow and M.Fletcher falling cheaply.
The local Town Ground Superstar Olly Naylor then came to the crease and steadied the ship with a flurry of fours, before being removed by Bradly for 38 with the scores at 94/6 from 19 overs.
With a good scoring rate at nearly five an over the wicket column was also traveling at the same rate.
Paul Fletcher and Bradley Sharp put on a partnership of 28 before Brad Sharp was caught for 18.
Keg Morley used his pace in between the wickets from hauling out at long on for seven.
Paul Fletcher continued to keep the score ticking sailing past his 50. Richard Eadie making his home debut creamed a lovely four to long off before being bowled for seven.
The final wicket fell with Paul Fletcher 88 not out as Heanor were bowled out for 218.
After only completing half a job in previous weeks Heanor took to the field knowing there would be plenty of work still to do.
The first early wicket fell with Brad Sharp bowling the dangerous Gilbert for 6 (10/1.)
Wickets then kept falling as the visitors slumped to 21/5, with the wickets being shared with Brad Sharp and Paul Fletcher from only 14 overs.
With the Heanor bowlers flying high, the pressure was on the Stanton batters to maintain some belief.
After two bowling changes the flow of wickets didn’t dry up, with Andy Mann removing numbers seven and eight without scoring and Keg Morley removing nine and 10 with the score on 34-/9.
The final wicket was left to man-of-the-match Paul Fletcher picking up his third of the day with the final score on 50 all out and Heanor obtaining a well earned 27 points for their efforts.
