Dan Bradley’s goal just before the break gave Alfreton Town a massive 1-0 win away at fifth-placed AFC Fylde v Alfreton Town in the Vanarama National League North this afternoon.

A shot from distance was spilled by keeper Urwin and Bradley scrambled the ball home against the run of play on 40 minutes before a crowd of 562.

That took the Reds’ run to 13 games unbeaten run in all competitions.

Nicky Law’s Reds haven’t lost on their travels since early December while, for the stuttering promotion-chasing Coasters, it was a fourth defeat in six outings.

It was a cagey affair throughout, though Fylde did hit the Alfreton bar in the first half.
