Heanor Town had yet another player red carded on Saturday, but this one was perhaps the strangest of the bunch.
Lions striker Jamie Clarke had just scored from the spot and was attempting to retrieve the ball, when he leapt over the Shepshed Dynamo keeper and caught him in the head.
Whilst it was obviously accidental, the referee took a dim view – perhaps influenced by the injury caused to goalkeeper Jack Hartopp, who needed treatment, and produced the red card for Clarke.
The sending off hindered Heanor in their battle to level the game, and Dynamo ran out 3-2 winners.
The incident can be seen around the seven minute mark of the video.
