FOR the second week running Swanwick Pentrich Road teams failed to score.
The first team lost 4-0 at home to Mickleover RBL in the Premier Division and the Reserves lost 3-0 to RBL’s Reserve team in a Division One bottom three shoot-out.
The team sandwiched in between them at the wrong end of the table, Pastures lost 3-0 to Rowsley ‘86 Reserves.
Pastures are another team who can’t buy a goal at present and their Reserves lost 5-0 to Hilton Harriers in division two.
Chris Morris and Chris Towney (2) scored the Mickleover Reserves goals.
At the top of the Premier Division, it looked as if Melbourne Dynamo were about to open up the title race as they led table toppers Allenton United 3-2 until Dave Carr equalised with the last kick of the match to comkplete his hat-trick.
Paul Swallow, Adam Ross and Matt Brian supplied the Melbourne goals.
At the other end of the table, Sandiacre Town drew 1-1 with Ashover to double their points total for the season. Shaun Shepherd scored the Sandiacre goal.
Another 1-1 draw involved Derby Royals, for whom Josh Gregory netted, and Chellaston but Cromford stepped up their title challenge with a 2-0 win at struggling Holbrook St Michaels.
It was a seventh consecutive defeat in the league for Saints.
Derby Rolls-Royce Leisure enjoyed a 3-2 win over Wirksworth Town.
Newmount beat Matlock Sports 4-1 with John Woolley netting a hat-trick and James Jennison the other goal.
Rowsley ‘86 were the big scorers in the Premier Division though with 16-year-old Jack Wilson, Dan Widdowson, Gaz Whitworth and two-goal Tim Baker on target in a 5-2 win over Willington.
Derby Rolls-Royce Leisure Reserves and Allestree continue to battle it out at the top of division one with both recording away wins.
Royce’s won 3-1 at Derbyshire Amateurs, Elliott Perry notching the Amateurs goal, while Allestree shaded Little Eaton 2-1.
Third-placed Punjab United kept in touch as two second half goals took them to a 2-0 win over Derby Singh Brothers.
Fourth-placed Woolley Moor United lost ground as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Bargate Rovers, Paul Robinson on target for Bargate.
Findern had the benefit of a Tibshelf player scoring for them but still lost 4-1.
Ripley Town led Holbrook St Michaels Reserves 2-0 before two late goals for the visitors produced a final score of 5-3.

Division Two table-toppers Allenton United Reserves kept up the pace by winning 6-1 at Derby Royals Reserves, Tom Beresford with the sole reply for Royals.
Melbourne Dynamo Reserves remain in second place after beating Punjab United Reserves 5-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Adam Doleman.
Mackworth St Francis are also on the pace after beating Wirksworth Ivanhoe, the team just below them in the league, 2-1 with Matt Edwards and Aaron Wightman on target for Mackworth.
Ambergate closed on Ivanhoe thanks to a 6-0 home win over Chellaston reserves. Both Shaun Bestwick and Wayne Randle bagged a brace of goals in the win with the other scorers being Andy Stevenson and Shaun Welch (report on right).
Newton beat Little Eaton Reserves 4-1 with Dean Bramley scoring two of their goals and the others coming from Josh Holy and Phil Liddle.
Andy Holmes and Tim Richards were the Wirksworth Town Reserves scorers in a 2-1 win over Bargate Rovers Reserves.
