Swanwick PR claimed the bragging rights and three valuable points with a 2-1 win at Holbrook St Michaels.
The visitors arguably started the strongest and if it wasnt for Dan Waddington in the Holbrook goal, plus the framework, they could have taken a commanding lead early on.
Although the hosts did their best to contain the away side, the Swans were ahead at the 20 minute mark.
A Rich Wall strike rebounded off the post and fell luckily to the feet of his defensive partner Shane Whitmore who gladly converted.
The Saints looked strong on the counter-attack and were level at the half hour mark.
Breaking down the right wing seemed to be a favoured tactic, which unlocked the Swanwick off-side trap to enable Matt Henry to draw the match level.
After the interval it was the away side that looked the more likely to take all three points.
And, with five minutes left on the clock, Guy Wilding was the man to score the winner after he got goalside before cooly finishing.
Swanwick were good value for their first away league victory of the season and whilst Holbrook sit bottom of the table, if they fight hard they are sure to pick up more points in the near future.
