Swanwick Pentrich Road vow to improve after Real beating

Swanwick Pentrich Road were subjected to their worst defeat of the season after they were beaten 4-0 by Nottingham-based side Real United.

Since joining the Central Midlands League the Swans have failed to claim a single point against Real and this encounter was no different.

The visitors are experiencing a mini-injury crisis during the festive period, however, Swanwick are a proud club that make no excuses for failure.

With a one goal deficit at half-time, Swan’s manager Kevin Grundy demanded improvements throughout.

These improvements simply did not materialise and Grundy’s men conceded a further three goals.

The club must now move on from this poor showing and ensure that they travel to Mickleover next week, with renewed confidence.

The Swan’s are still within touching distance of the top five and the players are determined to climb the table.
