Chesterfield FC have signed midfielder Danny Kearns on loan from Peterborough United.
Kearns, 22, will spend a month at the Proact Stadium with the agreement expiring on April 14.
He joined Peterborough from Dundalk in August 2011 and had a spell on loan at Rotherham United last season, making ten appearances for the South Yorkshire club.
Spireites boss Paul Cook moved to secure Kearns’ services following an injury to Dan Gardner at the weekend.
“He’s a player we’ve been monitoring for a long time,” said Cook. “He’s very bright in his forward play and we look forward to working with him.”
Kearns, who will wear the number 29 shirt, was eligible for Chesterfield’s game at AFC Wimbledon last night.
